# Character Setup

## Character Setup

Use this page to define the character creation flow.

It should answer what is allowed, required, and reviewed.

### Start with the concept

Explain the kind of characters that fit Mountain View.

Call out tone, setting fit, and banned concepts.

### Required character details

List the fields every profile needs.

Examples:

* Name and age
* Species and background
* Magic, abilities, or limits
* Hooks for play

### Approval flow

Explain where players submit a character.

State who reviews it and how revisions work.

### Good character standards

Show what makes a profile usable in RP.

Focus on clarity, limits, and setting fit.

{% hint style="info" %}
Link this page to species and magic lore once those references are ready.
